MANILA, Philippines - A throng of people gather at the steps of the Kamay ni Hesus Healing Center in Lucban, Quezon. All wait for their turn to be touched by what is believed to be the miraculous, healing hands of Fr. Joey Faller.
Tonight at 8:15, Q-11’s Chances Are will take a closer look at this phenomenon. Born from a family of doctors, Fr. Faller was a reluctant priest and even more a reluctant healer. A few years after being ordained, the priest was involved in a road mishap, which claimed the lives of some. But this accident only left his hands crooked. They now resemble the hands of the Sto. Niño and are said to have cured many.
Hosted by Paolo Abrera, Chances Are will uncover the truth about faith healing and will use science to make sense out of it. Fr. Faller’s healing hands will be placed under a thermal camera to measure the supposed energies they possess.
