Center for Pop's training program

MANILA, Philippines - This summer, do you want your kids to learn solo singing performance, hip-hop/street dancing, show group singing performance, acting workshop, speech and spiels and social graces and etiquette in an all-in-one training program at half of its regular price?

Here’s a new training program, undertaken by the Center for Pop Music Philippines, Inc. in celebration of its 25th year. The program aims to help unleash the kids’ potentials in stage performance while enhancing their image through personality development workshop, thus imparting the needed confidence that will help them succeed in life. 

The Discovery Training Program is an 18-day training package now offered in all branches of the Center for Pop Music Philippines and in selected Metro Manila schools for the summer break.

A brand new training style, conceived by Butch Albarracin, founder and CEO of Center for Pop Music Philippines, Inc., the program is designed to be fast-paced, enjoyable and interactive in approach to match with the interest and attention span of kids and teens.

Albarracin will personally train the participants in speech and spiels to be held at the Hall of Fame theater of the new Center for Pop building. Gwen Albarracin, COO of Center for Pop, will handle the social graces and etiquette lessons.

Other workshops are Starborne, the premium course on Singing & Stage Performance; Guitar, Drums, Beatbox and Keyboard lessons; Hip-hop and Street Dancing Lesson; Acting, a 4-in-1 Artworkshop, Modeling, Personality Development and Emceeing and Hosting.

Among the center’s alumni are Charice Pempengco, Sarah Geronimo, Nina, Erik Santos, Rachelle Ann Go, Nyoy Volante, Jonalyn Viray, King, Frenchie Dy, Joanne Ampil, Carla Guevara, Ma-an Dionisio and Ima Castro.
