Catastrophic predictions in Knowing

MANILA, Philippines - There must be a reason for all the major disasters in the last 50 years: Wild fires, flash floods, earthquakes, hurricanes, train wrecks, plane crashes, ship collisions and nuclear explosions. That’s what Astrophysics Prof. John Koestler (Nicolas Cage) and his partner Diana Wayland (Rose Byrne) will find out in this year’s most gripping action thriller, Knowing. In their quest for the terrifying truth, the duo even stumbled on the worst catastrophic of global scale about the future and set out to prevent them from coming true. Will they succeed? With special effects guranteed to blow the audience’s mind, Knowing is directed by Alex Proyas (I, Robot) and also stars Chandler Canterbury (The Curious Case of Benjamin Button) and Lara Robinson (Save). It opens March 25 in theaters nationwide.
