Cesar leads Western Union card launch

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - The Western Union Company recently announced the launch of its 2009 Western Union Gold Card Rewards Program in a star-studded event held at Teatrino Theatre. The Western Union Gold Card Rewards Program aims at giving experiential benefits and offers to Western Union’s loyal customers. Aligning with the program theme, the launch was reminiscent of a variety show and concert, giving the audience a unique experience worth its weight in gold and providing them with a preview of the benefits and perks lined up for Gold Card members this year.

Hosted by Phoemela Baranda, the event was kicked off by Western Union brand ambassador Cesar Montano with his acoustic performance. Jericho Rosales also rendered his version of Beautiful in My Eyes.

As part of the experiential benefits of the 2009 Western Union Gold Card reward program, Gold Card members can enjoy a discount of 50 percent on tickets for a series of Western Union-sponsored concerts featuring various performers including Christian Bautista, Yeng Constantino and Chokoleit. The concerts will be held in key cities including Davao on May 16; Cebu, June 20; and Manila, July 4.

Supported by the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), Western Union is also organizing a talent search Gintong Galin which will offer contestants a chance of sharing the spotlight with some of the country’s top performers during the Western Union concerts and winning a cash prize of value up to P100,000.
