Dingdong at Metrobar

MANILA, Philippines - Fresh from his successful Valentine concert in Cagayan de Oro, Dingdong Avanzado (photo) marks his first major concert in Manila entitled Music and Lyrics on March 7, 9 p.m. at Metrobar on West Ave., Quezon City.

Music and Lyrics showcases Dingdong’s versatility as a performer and songwriter. Dingdong dishes out some of today’s hottest chart-toppers, home-grown favorites and party anthems as well as his hit songs culled from his catalogue of multi-platinum studio albums and a catalogue of the greatest hits of the ’80s and ’90s.

Joining Dingdong on the show is Rachel Alejandro. This could be considered a reunion concert for Dingdong and Rachel since their successful collaboration in the early ‘90s with the smash hit Paalam Na  which won Song of the Year and Best Ballad Recording in the 1995 Awit Awards. Dingdong created the music for the song and worked with Rachel in writing the lyrics.
