MANILA, Philippines - Velvet Channel announced the winners of the dream collaboration in the Tribute to the Oscars photo exhibit during its unveiling at the Ayala Museum.
Sixteen celebrities captured the images of unforgettable Oscar winning and nominated films.
The most anticipated part of the night was the announcement of the Top Three winners for the Best Photos. The gold award and this year’s best photo was that of The Godfather with model Diether Ocampo, photographer Paolo Pineda, stylist Bea Constantino, makeup by Omar Ermita of Shu Uemura and hair by Ricky Diokno of Kiehl’s.
The silver award went to Edward Scissorhands with Christian Bautista, photographer Niccolo Cosme, stylist Lotho, makeup by Claire Diokno of Shu Uemura and hair by Ricky Diokno of Kiehl’s.
The Duchess received the bronze award with Karylle, photographer Noelle Hernandez, stylist Rex Atienza, makeup by Patrick Alcober of Shu Uemura and hair by George Aliben of Kiehl’s.
Cleopatra was the recipient of People’s Choice award with Pinky Tobiano, photographer Roy Macam, stylist Bianca Santiago, makeup by Mickey See of Shu Uemura and hair by Ricky Diokno of Kiehl’s.
Noelle Hernandez won the Best Creative Execution award for her interpretation of The Duchess while stylist Bea Constantino bagged the Best Dramatic Transformation award for The Godfather.
The event was hosted by Sarah Meier. Among the star-guests were Anne Curtis, Baron Geisler, Christian Bautista, Rafael Rosell, John James Uy, Marc Abaya, Bubbles Paraiso, Raymond Gutierrez, Bebe Gandanghari and Bianca King graced the event. The Angelos and Geneva Cruz provided the entertainment.
The photos are on exhibit at the Shangri-La Mall Level 4 until March 6.
