MANILA, Philippines - They neither fear nor feel hesitant in facing the battery of physical and mental challenges from the start of the competition until the final round of stunts — sand, tarantula and cage challenge. But no one among Jommy Teotico, Janna Dominguez, Manuel Chua and Marion dela Cruz, the four remaining participantes of ABS-CBN’s Pinoy Fear Factor: Argentina, South America, dared reveal who emerged El Ultimo Participante taking home the P2-M cash and the brand new house and lot. Their lips are sealed, and they’re not even giving a clue.
Reason: They all signed for confidentiality agreement and whoever spills the beans will pay a P5-M fine.
“Not even our family or friends know who won. Let’s just wait for the announcement,” says Janna.
“The penalty is way too big than the cash prize so we’d rather not tell, abunado pa pag nagkataon,” Jommy adds.
Even the last three eliminados — LJ Moreno, RJ Calipus and Savanna Lamsen are tight-lipped during the presscon. But when it comes to the physical and mental torture they experienced in the competition, all of them had a lot of stories to tell. They, too shared fun, exciting, heartbreaking and romantic moments.
RJ, the stevedore from Tondo, shares he did everything to stay in the game to the point of eating a rat. Yet he found himself too weak when he failed to accomplish one stunt that caused him to be booted out.
Savanna, on the other, hand, slid off the wall at the start of the stunt called Pared Giratoria (Rotating Wall) while LJ found her waterloo in the inverted bungee stunt.
The final four, on the other hand, showed how eager each of them were to win in the game. But Manuel denies he was the schemer in the group.
“My mindset is just focused in every stunt. Di ko naisip na manlaro ng emosyon ng iba whenever there is a challenge to take,” Manuel says. He was tagged Super Manuel when he beat two Fear Factor world records: Slippery Car stunt and Helicopter Net challenge.
Besides, every participant has the right to think of toppling his opponent whether they are friends or not.
“From the start, each of us has only one goal, and that is to win. Yes, the friendship has grown during our stay in Argentina but when it comes to stunts wala munang kaibigan,” Jommy offers.
“I am really determined to bag the P2-M cash for me and my siblings to continue our education and for my father who is in Japan to go back home,” Janna states.
But they all agreed that whoever wins will treat all the participantes to an outing. “At ibibili kami ng sapatos na pare-pareho,” adds Jommy.
Then, let’s find out who will be named first Pinoy Fear Factor champ when the reality show airs its last edition tonight after SNN: Showbiz News Ngayon.
