Shangri-La Plaza hosts Ani ng Sining

MANILA, Philippines - Shangri-La Plaza brings endless pleasures this month as it plays host to Ani ng Sining, the first Philippine International Arts Festival celebrating the fruits of Filipino artists’ creative efforts in the past and the evolution of artistic modes of expression available to the Filipino imagination.

Mounted in partnership with the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA), the festival features performances by the UP Singing Ambassadors, Malaya and Coro de Sta. Cecilla tomorrow, Feb. 20 and Novo Concertante, UE Chorale and Janssen Knights on Feb. 21, 5 p.m. at the Grand Atrium.

Filipino talent takes center stage at the Shang’s Grand Atrium on Feb. 28, 5 p.m. as artist Sabrina launches her new album I Love Acoustic. Hits like Irreplaceable, So Sick and A Thousand Miles take on a fresh twist with Sabrina’s unique and intimate acoustic interpretations.
