MANILA, Philippines - Kelly Clarkson (photo) is back with a new single My Life Would Suck Without You off her upcoming fourth album titled All I Ever Wanted. This early, she is setting a new record as My Life Would Suck Without You catapults from the No. 97 position it held the past week to the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, breaking the record held by Britney Spears’ Womanizer which went from No. 96 to No. 1 in a week’s time. The single’s jump marks the largest leap to No. 1 in the chart’s 50-year history.
The song also holds No. 1 spot in the Digital Chart with 279,605 sold in its first week. It is the third biggest digital song debut for a female artist.
The release of All I Ever Wanted under Sony Music Entertainment has moved to March 9.
