Socialista marks 1st anniversary

Socialista Bar and Restaurant on Remedios St., Malate marks its first anniversary with fun activities this month.

Owner Jong Garcia (left, with Cory Quirino) has invited percussionist Chito Latino and Tahitian dancers to perform tomorrow and on Feb. 8 at 9 p.m. House disc jockeys Eric, Eugene and Allen will keep the music going.

A ‘Full Moon’ party is set on Feb. 9 when house DJs will amplify the night with music.

Guests can sit out on the porch and watch the full moon rise.
