Special performances of Lola Basyang

On Dec. 25, 26 and 27, bring your loved ones to watch the reprise of Ballet Manila’s all Filipino original ballet Tatlong Kuwento ni Lola Basyang, featuring prima ballerina Lisa Macuja-Elizalde, with music by Ryan Cayabyab, Joey Ayala and Mon Faustino, under the direction of Roxanne Lapuz. Showtime is at 7 p.m. at the Aliw Theater, Star City Complex, Pasay City.

As part of Pamaskong Handog ng Star City, parkgoers get a chance to watch the ballet on this limited engagement for only P75. Premiered early this month, Tatlong Kuwento ni Lola Basyang was seen by over 25,000 spectators in 13 sold-out performances. The groundbreaking ballet trilogy, choreographed by Tony Fabella, Osias Barroso and Lisa Macuja-Elizalde, brought the house down at each performance with its exquisite costumes, astounding sets, breathtaking special effects, and world-class dancing Ballet Manila has been synonymous with.
