Vhong takes the exercise challenge

You’ve probably already heard it on the radio and seen its music video on television — Vhong Navarro encouraging you to step up and dance to his hit single, Ayos Na ang Buto-Buto.

What you probably didn’t know is that the dance steps accompanying the song are something that not just the young would enjoy doing, but also the young at heart have a fun time engaging in, too — even or especially those who are suffering from arthritis and rheumatism as the moves are actually consulted from a physical therapist to make sure they are friendly to the joints.

Vhong’s dance ehersisyo was commissioned by Skelan, the newest product offering from Unilab that helps people suffering from arthritis and rheumatism live a more enjoyable and fuller life by relieving them of the pain that comes from the swelling and the stiffness of the joints.

“For those who have arthritis and rheumatism, doing the simplest of tasks can be excruciating, and this affects everyday moments which could otherwise have been enjoyable with the family and the grandchildren,” says Unilab Consumer Health assistant product manager Jazmin Hernandez.

That is why Unilab came out with a product to help address one of the most common conditions that affect its more mature market.

“Unilab believes that proper pain management and a healthy daily exercise regimen can help ease the suffering caused by arthritis. Daily low-impact exercises like that featured in the Ayos Na ang Buto-Buto music video can help alleviate pain and discomfort,” Hernandez says.

Skelan is an effective product that arthritis and rheumatism sufferers can rely on to help them address inflammation, swelling and stiffness problems. It contains Naproxen Sodium, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug which is proven safe and effective in quickly relieving discomfort and pain.

Skelan is affordable. Its 220 mg. tablet retails for only P9, while its 550 mg. tablet is available for only P17.50.
