Taguig celebrates anniversary with a concert

In celebration of Taguig’s fourth cityhood anniversary, a Christmas concert will be held tonight at 6 at the Bonifacio High St. in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City. Change Divas will perform.

The group is composed of Taguig’s singing ambassadresses Abigail Gepollo, Camille Diaz, Glaiza Mae Micuja, Iyah Ladip, Jelica Salanatin, Johanie Velasco, Micah Llona, Yvelle Pagsuyoin and Kylie Tinga.

Taguig Mayor Freddie Tinga takes pride in the girls’ singing prowess having been discovered through the city government’s talent search Friday Talent Nights.

Change Divas will sing 14 tracks from its Christmas album titled Season of Hope.

“Christmas should be a season of hope to everyone. In these times of uncertainties, there is always hope that things will get better. We can change the world if we care enough,” Tinga says.

Bonifacio Art Foundation, Inc., Ballet Scholars and the Forward Taguig Chorale Ensemble will also grace the affair.
