Twilight OST debuts at No. 1

Twilight, music from the Original Motion Picture Soundtrack, debuts at No. 1 in music stores. It features songs in the movie, highlighted by Paramore’s new single, Decode which hit No. 1 in top radio stations and MYX.

Compiled by music supervisor Alexandra Patsavas (Gossip Girl, Grey’s Anatomy, The O.C), the soundtrack also includes another new song from Paramore titled I Caught Myself and tracks from Muse, Linkin Park, Collective Soul, Perry Farrell and Mutemath, author Stephenie Meyer’s favorite bands.

Twilight star Robert Pattinson has contributed an original song Never Think, his first released recording.  The film’s score was composed by Carter Burwell, and the soundtrack also includes his Bella’s Lullaby, a song Edward Cullens (Pattinson) composes for Bella Swan (Kristin Stewart) in the movie.

The physical version of the soundtrack features a CD booklet that folds out into an Edward and Bella poster and collectible trading cards that randomly reveal one of four images of Edward, Bella, James or Edward and Bella together.

Catch the Twilight Soundtrack Listening Party tomorrow, Dec. 6, 3 p.m. onwards at Glorietta 3 Tent (in front of Music One) featuring performances from Urbandub, Nyctinasty and Faintlight.
