Sandalias Festival mixes dance with fashion

Dance in fashion; fashion in dance. In the recently-concluded Sandalias Festival, the innovative Steps Dance Project mixed these together rendering an awesome number where the main stars were happy feet donning Ipanema, Grendha and Rider.

The rhythm of Brazil echoed throughout Glorietta Activity Center as the Sandalias Festival went on, prompting everyone to get on his feet. Footsies searched for the sole-mates — Ipanema for tropical beach lovers, Grendha for chic urbanites and Rider for outdoor adventurers — while others grooved with the colorful parade and heart-pounding percussion of Buganda with Escola de Samba de Manila.

Hosts Tom Alvarez and Nikki B also spearheaded fun games, where contestants got free flipflops. The Sandalias Festival likewise welcomed footsies who participated in the Buy 3 Take 1 Promo and announced the winners of the Where Have Your Sandals Gone Photo Contest.

The event resounded success for by ELRO Commercial and Industrial Corp., organizer of the Sandalias Festival and distributor of Grendene SA products, footwear manufacturer and principal of Ipanema, Grendha and Rider.

The Sandalias Festival was also presented by Fairways & Bluewater Newcoast Boracay, Freeway and Planet Sports.
