Bloom is the title of the latest album of Lovi. And she is blossoming into a fine young woman. Since she released her debut album three years ago, Lovi has proven to the public what it takes to be a star. She has also won several awards under her belt like the RX 93.1 OPM Artist of the Year, the SOP Artist Breakthrough of the Year and Star awards for her work on film and TV. She recently had her debut concert at the Music Museum.
In Bloom, Lovi shows her versatility as she shifts from Tagalog ballads (Dito Sa Puso, Sa Pag-iisa) to English ditties (Second Time Around, Love on a Two Way Street). In Sana, the album’s first single and the track Lovi is promoting, she sings with the wishful thinking of a 15 year old. But when she starts showing her vocals in Not For Sale and Save the Sunlight, Lovi shows maturity. There are also the Ogie Alcasid songs like Nais Ko and Paulit-Ulit. In I’m Your Friend, Lovi becomes a woman in love.
Bloom is now available in record bars nationwide. Lovi is scheduled to have her Bloom mall tour today at Robinsons Pulilan, Bulacan; tomorrow, Nov. 29, Robinsons Sta. Rosa, Laguna; Nov. 30, Starmall-Edsa; Dec. 6, SM Dasmariñas; Dec. 13, SM Marilao; Dec. 14, SM Molino; Dec. 20, SM Baliwag, Bulacan; Dec. 21, Metropoint Mall, Taft Ave.; Jan. 4, SM Muntinlupa; Jan. 10, SM Marikina; and Jan. 11, SM Clark.
