All set for 2008 Salon Spectacular

All is set for the 2008 Salon Spectacular tomorrow, Nov. 25, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., at the World Trade Center on Roxas Blvd., Pasay City, again sponsored by Hair Asia magazine and spearheaded by its editor Evelyn Alvaran-Cruz (in yellow, with 18th National Open Champion Mhar Tacuboy).

This year’s theme is The Flapper Fashion of the Roaring 1920’s.

Bigger psrizes are in store for winners in this year’s competition, with a round-trip ticket to London (with hotel accommodation) among those to be given to the Overall Champion, enabling him or her to witness the Salon International 2009.

‘The category champion who collects the most number of cards from all categories they will compete in will be declared over-all champion,’ said Evelyn.

Prizes at stake: For the champion, P20,000 cash, a gold medal, trophy and gifts packs; for first runner-up, P10,000 cash, silver medal, trophy and gift packs; second runner-up, P5,000 cash, bronze medal, trophy and gift packs; and each of the 12 most outstanding contestants will get P1,000 cash, a medal and gift packs.

Hair Asia partners for the event include Rustans Essences, GlutaLife, Matrix, Revlon Professional, Isac, Gluta Advance and Dermaclinic.
