Mel & Joey visits Petronas

Do you know that one of the world’s tallest buildings is in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia? Let GMA 7’s Mel & Joey directed by Louie Ignacio take you there tonight for its fourth anniversary special.

Mel Tiangco and Joey de Leon visit Petronas Twin Tower, amazing with its 452-meter height, 88 storeys, a skybridge that connects the towers on the 41st floor, 58 doubledeck elevators and 32,000 glass windows. They will also give a dope on what to remember while in Malaysia.

The trip continues as we are shown the Genting Highlands-First World Hotel included in the 10 Biggest Hotels in the World and famous for 6,118 guest rooms, a megamall comprised of more than 80 shops, 90 restaurants, cineplex, casino and a 50-room karaoke bar, tropical rain forest and indoor and outdoor theme parks.

Then hie off Petalling Street similar to Chinatown, the most photographed Sultan Abdul Samad Building in Merdeka for its Victorian and Moorish-inspired design, Copper Dome and 130- meter tall clock. Also visit the oldest surviving mosque Mashid Jamek, Kotoraya Mall where many expats are employed, the 421-meter high communications tower Kuala Lumpur Tower in Bukit Nanas and the Planetarium where the “Arianne IV Space Engine” is displayed.
