The University of the East (UE), through its Office of Cultural Affairs, will present world-class ballerina Lisa Macuja-Elizalde (photo), prima ballerina of the Ballet Manila (BM), in a lecture-demonstration on classical ballet at the UE Theater tomorrow, Nov. 19, 3 p.m.
The lecture-demo features an interactive presentation on appreciating the line, form and beauty of classical dance.
Macuja-Elizalde, whose accomplishments in two decades of ballet have made her one of the most esteemed ballet icons of her generation, will also perform various classical, contemporary and Filipino-inspired choreographies together with the Ballet Manila dancers.
