Aubrey: Baby first before marriage

DIRECT LINE - Boy Abunda -

Aubrey Miles is four months pregnant. She found out just a month ago. Troy Montero her partner of five years is most excited. Upon learning of the good news, they called friends and relatives.  No they didn’t plan to hide or escape to the US where according to the grapevine they were to settle quietly until after Aubrey’s date with the stork. Highly improbable because the two are extremely proud of the forthcoming baby especially Troy who has been wanting to start a family. Marriage is next but there’s no rush said Aubrey and Troy. “It will happen and we want it beautiful,” Aubrey enthused. Aubrey wants a girl; Troy hopes it’s a boy. What pisses the two is the nasty rumor that Aubrey was apprehended by the Taguig Police sniffing cocaine inside a car in front of The Embassy Bar at the Fort. First Aubrey admitted that they wanted to just brush off the ridiculous rumor but not until close friends and family members started to call — very concerned. They needed to explain to everyone that the rumor was not true. This prodded them to come out on TV and break their silence. Annoying was this rumor as Aubrey and Troy are known to be health conscious. They watch the food they eat and they regularly exercise. Many would refer to the two as one of the most desirable pairs in tinseltown. Not to say that they didn’t party or went clubbing at some point but this outrageous  rumor is coming at a time when Aubrey is pregnant. “I’m not stupid to do something bad that would hurt my baby,” Aubrey quipped.

“This baby is for Troy. He wanted this so much. Thank God for the blessing,” Aubrey said in The Buzz interview last Sunday.

The Taguig Police has denied that Aubrey was involved in the drug bust at The Fort.

Let’s just be happy for Aubrey and Troy. Believe me, they’re very nice people, they deserve only the best wishes even from people who don’t know them personally.

Antonio Hairdressing’s opening

From Jet Valle, here is a press release on Antonio Hairdressing’s opening at Commonwealth Ave., Quezon City. It was cloudy during the opening but not enough to dampen the celebration because Amy Perez, Aiko Melendez, Mariel Rodriguez, Yeng Constantino and Empress Schuck arrived to grace the opening.  The salon, conveniently located at the Holy Spirit Drive near Commonwealth Ave. serves as the fourth branch of the Antonio Hairdressing family. The first is in Sgt. Esguerra while branches in Libis and in BF Homes, Parañaque are operating successfully.

Antonio Hairdressing is led by creative director Pin Antonio. Pin is a world-renowned and international award-winning hairstylist who is a pioneer in cut and color. She is one of the stalwarts of style in hair in the Philippines. Pin is in Los Angeles to study under the world-renowned Vidal Sassoon Academy. Also in Pin’s itinerary is attending Hairworld in McCormick Center in Chicago, a yearly gathering of salon owners and hairdressers worldwide organized by Paris-based Organisation Mondiale Coiffure. She’s also taking up a specialized course in hair extensions in Hairlocs in Hollywood. After a few weeks, she is planning to teach what she has learned to her staff.

Amy says, “That’s what’s great about Ms. Pin. She goes at least once a year to an out-of-the-country trip to further her craft and she applies what she learns in her salon.”

Mariel has nothing but praises for Pin. “She fits hairstyles and colors to you and your personality. Antonio Hairdressing has a certain signature. You’d know their work from how sleek the haircut is. Ms. Pin has originated a lot of hair trends which a lot of people try to copy but you would know if it’s Ms. Pin who did it.”

Sonny Magundayao, the man behind Antonio Hairdressing,  says that this endeavour “is our way to make the style of Pin Antonio more accessible to a lot of people. We opened franchising of Antonio Hairdressing recently and the convenience of their locations is what people are thanking us for. They know they can get the world-class style of Pin Antonio just a few minutes away from where they live.”
