Judy Ann adopts Aeta community

“It always feels good when someone trusts you,” shares Judy Ann Santos on the TV, movie and endorsement projects that come her way. The most recent of these endorsements is the Tuseran deal that will see her in a series of dramatic vignettes exclusively aired on ABS-CBN starting yesterday until July 27.

“It means a lot that people regard, respect and look up to you,” adds Judy Ann. It took her 20 years of meaningful work to earn public approval.

That’s why Judy Ann tops every producer or advertising executive’s list of lead stars/endorsers. She delivers. She also knows what will work for her.

“Even before, I used it (Tuseran) whenever I had cough,” she says.

Besides, Judy Ann is in the pink of health. And this, the Tuseran executives took note of.

In a recent presscon hosted by Tuseran and ABS-CBN, the Kasal, Kasali, Kasalo female star showed off her whistle-bait figure by wearing a green, tube dress showcasing her well-toned muscles and curves. Dangling earrings and a pair of red stilettos completed the look.

Judging by the way she looked that night, Judy Ann is a picture of happiness and contentment. She looked relaxed  and refreshed.

This is perhaps the effect of her recent trip to Tubbataha, a marine sanctuary nestled in Palawan with boyfriend Ryan Agoncillo.

“It was our first trip together there,” relates Judy Ann. “We stayed for four days. There were no cell sites. All you could see was water and fish all over. We were away from showbiz intrigues. Nakapag-recharge talaga kami,” she relates.

Judy Ann adds that the much-needed vacation and an iPod were Ryan’s birthday presents to her.

After the Palawan sojourn, Judy Ann is ready to face the cameras for the soap Ysabella with Ryan. It’s their first teleserye  together after Krystala, where their romance started.

With the many blessings coming her way, plus the comforts of life she has been enjoying, Judy Ann never forgets to help the underprivileged.

She has adopted an Aeta community which she will support for five years. She will provide for their livelihood and teach them to be self-sufficient.

As for Tuseran, she is doing its Ubo Tapos, Cash Lubos Promo  via a series of drama vignette promo spots. In every video spot, Judy Ann will be seen talking about the product and coughing sans Mommy Carol.

Speaking of Mommy Carol, Judy Ann clarifies that her mom didn’t receive a talent fee nor a fat pay check from the Tuseran TV commercial they did together. This is because, as a Canadian citizen, Mommy Carol cannot accept work in the Philippines. Her appearance in the  TVC was a labor of love.

No wonder Judy Ann and her family have been doubly blessed. Indeed, charity begins at home.
