Is there any professional rivalry between you?
Francine: We can’t help being compared to each other. But I don’t consider Diana a rival; she’s more of a friend.
Diana: There seems to be but actually Francine and I don’t consider it rivalry. We are not insecure with each other. It’s not an issue.
What do you think is your edge over the other?
Francine: You can say that we are both sexy pero magkaiba kami. I’m more girlie-girlie while Diana is tougher; she can do action roles.
Diana: She’s very tall and I think it limits her chances of doing varied roles. My edge? Mas marunong ako sa fight scenes, marunong akong mag-tumbling. When we were doing Enkantadia, Francine and I had a fight scene and I found her to be lampa (weakling). She’s bigger but mas magaling akong sumuntok.
How do you maintain your sexy bodies?
Francine: Only by dieting. I just eat less. But I don’t overdo it or else I will collapse kasi low-blood (anemic) ako, eh. Or I get dizzy. I’m taking iron. Workout? Not much. But before the Bench show last year, I decided to hit the gym regularly.
Diana: I have an inspiration — my friend who goes to the gym regularly kaya fit na fit siya. I eat mostly salads and only a little rice. And soup.
What is sexy to you?
Francine: Sexy is more than just physical. There are men who may not be physically attractive but once you talk to them, lumalabas ang kanilang sex appeal. I think it’s how a man carries himself.
Diana: It is in how a man carries himself, nasa pagdadala ’yon.
Name three guys you think are sexy.
Francine: There’s Polo Ravales. I’m including him on the list not because he’s our leading man but because he is sexy naman talaga. Also, Wendell Ramos. And Mr. Bean (Rowan Atkinson).
Diana: Martin Lawrence. Parang hot ang dating niya, especially in Bad Boys. Leonardo DiCaprio.
And three women as sexy as you are.
Francine: Siempre si Diana Zubiri. Maureen Larrazabal. And Ehra Madrigal.
Diana: Ara Mina. Malaman (fleshy) siya. Julia Roberts. She’s sexy even when she’s just talking (take note: Pretty Woman). And Angelina Jolie.
You are sexy from head to foot. But what part do you think is sexiest?
Francine: My body. Not too skinny, with some fat in the right places.
Diana: Sabi nila, ‘yung innocent look ko daw.
Is every part of you natural?
Francine: Yes, of course!
Diana: What do you think?
Where is your kiliti (sensitive) part?
Francine: My ears and my neck.
Diana: Sa batok (nape).
How many boyfriends have you had so far?
Francine: Only one na talagang serious relationship; he was not from showbiz. Suitors? They are disappearing one by one. I don’t know why. Maybe they find better ones.
Diana: Six. Some of them non-showbiz.
What is the sexiest scene that you’ve done?
Francine: The one in Silip, shot outdoors with so many onlookers around. Polo and I were naked — no plaster for me!
Diana: The one in Bakat where Rodel (Velayo) and I did a love scene in the sea. We were both naked. We made love under the rain.
What turns you on in a man?
Francine: His intelligence. ‘Yung masarap kausap at marami kang natututunan.
Diana: ‘Yung matangkad (tall), singkit (chinky-eyed) at ‘yung siksik ang katawan.
When you like a man, do you make the first move?
Francine: Never! If he’s not meant for me, di huwag!
Diana: Yes, I will — if he’s worth it.
How far would you go to get a man?
Francine: Nothing!
Diana: I will make him eat sinigang. If he doesn’t like sinigang, I’ll just give him my “innocent” look. Kunwari inosente pero marami palang alam!
