More Grammy nominees

I listed down the pop and rock nominees at the 2007 Grammy Awards last Friday. This time around, I have the R n B and rap listing. Its a great year for R&B and rap music. In fact, R n B diva Mary J. Blige is the leader of the pack with eight nominations, three in main categories like Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Vocal Collaboration and five in the field of R n B.
Rockers The Red Hot Chili Peppers comes next with six. Other topnotchers: hot newcomer James Blunt, country music trio The Dixie Chicks, guitar-toting heartthrob John Mayer plus Danger Mouse, Prince, Rick Rubin and will.i.am of The Black Eyed Peas who got five each. Beyoncé, Bryan-Michael Cox, Gnarls Barkley, Israel Houghton, Ludacris, T.I., Justin Timberlake and John Williams got four each.
