Filipiniana night at the FAP 24th Luna Awards

Better late than never.

The 24th Luna Awards of the Film Academy of the Philippines (FAP) finally got underway Saturday night at the PAGCOR Grand Theater of the Airport Casino in Parañaque City. It was strictly Filipiniana night. Cheers to Harlene Bautista and husband Romnick Sarmenta who produced the Luna Awards under their Eight Elephant Productions in cooperation with FAP. The couple deserves a round of applause for sustaining the FAP tradition, a bit late though it was. FAP should hire Harlene and Romnick again next year, and schedule the awards earlier.

Directed by Al Quinn, the affair was hosted by Sen. Bong Revilla and wife Lani Mercado, Claudine Barretto and John Lloyd Cruz, and Jolina Magdangal and Marvin Agustin, aired on RPN 9.
