Body Talk with Keanna Reeves

Is Keanna Reeves’ "15 minutes" over?

Has (overnight) success gone to her head?

Has she turned into some kind of a misguided missile?

Has her manager, Boy Abunda, gotten so exasperated with her that he’s ready to drop her (like a hot potato) from Backroom’s stable of talents?

To all that, Keanna’s answer is a simple "Hindi totoo ‘yan! They’re not true!"

Almost two years after she turned heads by eliciting a Senate probe into prostitution in high places and a few months after running away with the grand prize of the ABS-CBN reality-TV show Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Edition, the Cebuana has become in-demand. She’s a regular on the ABS-CBN sitcom Aalog-Alog (obviously referring to her oversized bumpers) and, after starring with Gloria Romero and Eddie Garcia in the Seiko comedy I Wanna Be Happy, she’s now topbilled in two other movies, Viva Films’ Reyna (in one scene, she runs wearing only thong under her unbuttoned hospital gown) and Reality Entertainment, Inc.’s Binibining K (her first-starring picture, directed by Joven Tan and co-starring Troy Montero, Dennis Padilla, Jimmy Santos, Jojo Alejar and Candy Pangilinan).

What’s making her tick?

Her honesty (even it hurts), evident during her stay in Big Brother’s house, which helped her won the plum.

Her simple-mindedness.

And, yes, her body.

Thus, this body talk.

With so many commitments, do you ever sleep?

"I’d be happy if I’m able to sleep for five hours. Usually, I get only two to three hours every night. I make up for lack of sleep by taking power naps in the car. I sleep in the nude. It’s more comfortable that way."

Making hay while the sun shines, huh?

"According to Tito Boy, we should take advantage of the opportunity. It comes only once in a while. Before nga, I would stay up late for nothing, palabuy-laboy lang, why shouldn’t I do it for work? There are so many jobless people around; I should be thankful that I have a job. Malay natin, I might wake up one morning and find no more offers. So, grab-grab na lang."

Don’t you have time to relax?

"I try to have time for friends. When my taping or shooting is packed up early, I call my friends and we have dinner. I usually go out with Rustom (Padilla, her current best friend)."

Some people say that you frequent gay bars.

"I don’t have to. What for? It’s the men who come to me. Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha!"

Don’t you find showbiz stressful, confusing?

"Sometimes, I don’t know who I am, what I am. Maraming bawal, eh! So many do’s and don’t’s."

How’s your private life?

"Zero. Would you believe!"

Zero the past 24 hours?

"Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha!
What I need now is not just, you know... But more of companionship."

What’s the real score between you and Andrew Wolfe?

"Naudlot. Rudely interrupted. We were getting into a serious relationship until the press got wind of it."

Were you intimate?

"Would you believe if I tell you that our relationship was platonic, nothing physical?"

No comment. How do you cope with your rigorous schedule? Are you taking vitamins?

"I do. I take multi-vitamins and vitamin C."

What sort of diet do you follow?

"None. I eat anything. Rice and viand only. I’m not fond of sweets or chocolates. I lack sleep so I make up for it by eating."

How much water do you take each day?

"Not much. Just lots of juices. My favorite is kalamansi juice."

What sort of workout do you do?

"Seldom. Besides not having the time, I find it hard to exercise my boobs are so heavy. Nabibigatan talaga ako!"

What changes has Dr. Vicki Belo done on your body?

"Pinalaki ang
butt ko. I wanted to reduce the size of my boobs but my friends said, ‘Sayang! Other women nga would want to have theirs bigger.’ My measurement used to be 34"; now, it’s 36". So I didn’t touch them na lang."

What part of your body is your favorite?

"The part leading to my butt. Malalim, kuya! Rare daw ’yon. Sexy daw ‘yon."

What part of your body do you think needs some improvement?

"My hips. Pinagawa ko rin ‘yon. I’m thinking of firming them up. One of these days, I’ll consult Dr. Vicki Belo."

What part of a man’s body do you look at first?

"If he’s a good dresser... I’m not particular about looks; what counts is that he should be neat."

Don’t you find Andrew good-looking?

"Nagkataon lang. We met during the recent Bench show at the Araneta Coliseum. It was Zanjoe (Marudo, Keanna’s PBB housemate) who introduced him to me. At first, I was scared because I thought he didn’t speak Tagalog. Baka Inglisin ako nang inglisin, eh. I was joking and he kept on laughing. Nag-click kami."

People say that Andrew is "using" you, that you are his Sugar Mommy.

"It’s not true! He’s also earning."

They say you’re old enough to be his mother. (Andrew is in his early 20s.)

"Hindi, ah!"

How old are you na ba?

"I’m 36."

But you said on The Buzz last year that you were 37.

"Did I say that?" (The older of her two sons by her estranged husband is 18.)

What about the French model (reported in Funfare a few issues ago)?

"Wala na ‘yon!"

What’s the youngest guy that you’ve dated, and the oldest?

"I think... 20. Not naman 14, according to rumors. What do they think of me, a cradle-snatcher? The oldest? Amoy-lupa na (earth-smelling). Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha!"

How do you take care of your body?

"I take a bath with lotion. Naliligo talaga ako ng lotion."

Not with water?

"Water din. It takes me more than one hour to take a bath. I take my time. Sabon ako nang sabon. I see to it na tanggal ang lahat ng libag. May pang-hilod (pumice) ako. Inside Big Brother’s house, I was the only one who took a bath in the nude, even if I knew there were hidden cameras around. Wala akong pakialam. Rustom brought a lot of body/skin care products with him, so I would ask for lotion from him. I’m neat not only with my body but also in my house."

Name three men you think have nice bodies.

"Andrew Wolfe. Rustom Padilla. Christian Vasquez (also Keanna’s PBB house-mate)."

And three women...

"Rufa Mae Quinto. Jessica Simpson. Pamela Anderson."

Using body language, how would you seduce a man?

"Tinititigan ko. I just look and look at him."
