The 100 Greatest Movie Stars of Our Time

As usual and as expected, the first thing some readers will probably say is, "How come so and so are not on the list?" I have my own "candidates," too, but they are likewise not on the list of The 100 Greatest Movie Stars of Our Time drawn up by People magazine’s Special Collector’s Edition, a copy of which was given to me by my friend Raoul Tidalgo (entertainment editor/columnist of the New York-based The Filipino Reporter).

But then, I must concede that People has its own criteria of its choices who "represent the fabulous fabric of post-Golden Age Hollywood." The list is not new, having been made two years ago. But I find it so interesting that I can’t help sharing it with Funfare readers. Here are the "Fabulous 100" (and their birthdays, arranged according to categories at random):
