Christian’s TV special shown in Indonesia

-
Christian Bautista returns to Indonesia on Jan. 30 until Feb. 4 to again bring pride to the Philippines.

Indonesia’s largest TV station, RCTI, in cooperation with Warner Music Indonesia, is producing a TV special that will feature Christian. He will be joined by top composer/musical director and conductor Andi Riyanto. A 40-piece orchestra completes the stage as Christian serenades the crowd with his hits in the Philippines and Indonesia.

This will be the first time a Filipino performer will get the privilege of having his own TV special in Indonesia.

Christian will also have a radio promo tour in Prambors radio station, a female radio station in Indonesia, two music video shoots for Since I Found You and Everything I Am. Kompas, Femina, Gadis Nova and Jakarta Post also scheduled an interview with Christian. He will also appear on MTV Indonesia for MTV Land, MTV Getar Cint and MTV What’s Up. A press conference for the TV special caps Christian’s visit.

Christian, fresh from his first starring role in ABS-CBN 2’s Kampanerang Kuba, has a latest album, Completely, which turned gold in less than a week of release. The album was launched at the same time in Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and the Philippines.

In a recent visit to Bangkok with his family, Christian was invited to lunch with executives from Warner Music Thailand. General manager Santisuk Klongchaiya and marketing manager Pattanee Jareeyatana said Christian’s The Way You Look At Me, and Hands to Heaven are doing well in Thailand. The Thai executives added that for the past 10 years, except for Christian, no other Filipino has penetrated the Thai market.

Christian performs regularly on ASAP, as part of the Champions group.
