Aside from being ABS-CBNs most sought-after talent, Kristine Hermosa has a grand entry in the Metro Manila Film Festival, Enteng Kabisote: The Legend Continues where she reprises her role as Faye, Vic Sottos fairy wife.
Kristine is always regarded as one of showbizs prettiest faces. Her features make fans adore her. Shes a perfect screen heroine who can light up the screen without even trying. Her acting skills complement her beauty.
She made people fall in love and cry in Sa Sandaling Kailangan Mo Ako and never looked back since then. Who could ever forget her delineation of the female lead in the soaps Pangako Sa Yo, Sanay Wala Nang Wakas and Till Death Do Us Part? She glowed and sizzled opposite Jericho Rosales in Forevermore and Ngayong Nandito Ka and with Aga Muhlach in All My Life.
Kristine also endorses products, from toothpaste to shampoo to facial cleanser.
No wonder Vic Sotto tapped her to play Faye in his top grossing MMFF entry last year, Enteng Kabisote: Okay Ka Fairy Ko The Legend.
How does it feel that shes again playing Faye in the sequel?
"Of course, flattered and thankful at the same time!" says Kristine." Its a big privilege to work with Bossing Vic again. Everybody knows my version of Faye is a much-coveted role. Before me, it was Alice Dixson and Tweety de Leon who breathed life to the character. Just the idea of filling in their shoes is wow!"
Asked how it was teaming up with Vic for the second time, Kristine replied, "What can I say but only good words? Bossing Vic treats his leading ladies well. He takes care of everybody on the set. I miss our bonding every shooting day. Eh si Bossing pa naman, never a dull moment when youre with him. Hes naturally funny. My experience last year was the same as the one I had this year. Mas masaya pa nga dahil there were other stars who got added to the old cast like Alice Dixson, Melanie Marquez, Toni Rose Gayda, Jeffrey Quizon and Victor Neri."
Speaking of Alice, Kristine had a nice working relationship with the original Faye. "Shes like an elder sister to me," says Kristine. "Many people notice that we have a number of similarities. I dont mind because everyone knows what a beautiful person she is inside and out. Shes a fantabulous Ina Magenta! Her beauty radiates even more when shes in costume. She gave justice to the role. I hope we can do another project together in the future."
She adds that if the public liked their output last year, they will love this years offering. Kristine says there will be surprising revelations as the plot progresses.
"This is an entertaining movie," concludes Kristine." Its meticulously done. Its for the whole family. Aside from the spectacular effects, many Filipino values, especially those related to family will be shown. I hope the people will support the movie."
