Hale bagged two trophies but it was rumored lovers Rachelle Ann Go and Christian Bautista who scored a knockout by bringing home the Favorite Female Artist and Favorite Male Artist Awards at this years MTV Pilipinas 2005 Video Music Awards.
Rachelle Ann was nominated for her rendition of the South Border hit Love of My Life, one of the cuts in her first album entitled Rachelle Ann Go.
