ABS-CBN Global wins Promax World Silver Award

ABS-CBN Global shines even brighter in the international scene as The Filipino Channels (TFC) 10th anniversary station ID, Isang Dugo, Isang Lahi, Isang Musika (One Blood, One Race, One Music), won the prestigious Promax World Silver Award.
The Promax BDA, which recognizes the best creative works worldwide, is considered the equivalent of the Oscars and Cannes for movies. With this award, TFC is now positioned alongside the best international TV channels like NBC, CBS, BBC, Discovery Channel, Star TV, Fox, Turner, Nickelodeon, History Channel that have also received a Promax plum.
The music, composed by Dodgjie Simon and arranged by Gerard Salonga, tells of the Filipinossuccess inside and outside their homeland. With ABS-CBN executives Jeff Remigio, Ned Legaspi and Joel Barquez on the creative forefront, the station ID showcases world-class Filipino artists and ordinary citizens alike, against the backdrop of world-renowned landmarks.
Among the station IDs featured artists are Cecille Licad, Josie Natori, Micahel Dadap, Dr. Jorge Garcia, Enrico Kabayen, Dr. Josette Biyo, the Madrigal Singers, and Filipino overseas workers.
The two-minute masterpiece is directed by Topel Lee, with director of photography Odie Flores and executive producer Liza Javier. The Promax World Silver Award music package was recently given to TFC during the Promax & BDA Award Show at the Broadway Ballroom in New York.
