Tripping at The Loop

After awhile, visiting the same places over and over again can become boring and less of a thrill. Then, we daydream of jet-setting and touring around the globe, ultimately going to the likes of Disneyland and Universal Studios for their different ambience, scenery and the chance to see celebrities. Knowing this, ABS-CBN recently launched its local version of Universal Studios, The Loop, where you can wine and dine amongst your favorite movie stars and media magnets, where the thrill is always in attendance.
The Loop is a fabulous one-stop destination where you can find almost anything you can possibly need. It is littered with a number of luscious food choices, happening hang-outs and specialty shops. But what sets it apart from your regular establishments is that at any given time of any day, you can and will bump into todays hottest celebrities, artists and intriguing personalities.
Strategically located in the periphery of the countrys best and most star-laden studios, The Loop offers more than shopping, pampering and entertaining services. It is a revolutionary concept that brings the stars to you.
Many of the establishments at The Loop are owned and run by celebrities themselves. Foot Trip, the mini-spa du jour, is the joint business venture of icons Kris Aquino and Carlos Agassi. Newscaster and TV host Ces Drilon and painter-hubby Rocky, are the proud owners of Magnet, which has posted itself as more than just a magazine shop as it carries trinkets and artwork by budding artist and designers.
And then there are shop owners with star-like looks like chef to the stars, Margarita Fores of Cibo, the darling wine vintner, Tita Trillo of Cork and Philip Cu-Unjieng of Dish, the rocking venue for bands and performers where the entertainment always goes full throttle. IO Family KTV boasts of OPM-themed rooms for those with insatiable karaoke trips. IO is owned by Beegee Gonzales and managed by Edwin Reyes.
The Loop has come full circle with stores circumnavigating the entire ground floor of the lavish building of the network giant. It boasts of Starbucks, Windows Café, Brothers Burger, Pizza Hut, Kimchi, Murasaki, Red Wok, Jamaican Patties, Big Chill, FIC (Fruits in Ice Cream), Deck Deli and Ferinos Bibingka for all possible palate cravings.
For the R and R seekers, Bench Fix Salon and Foot Trip offer in-vogue styling and minutes of great indulgence. Ministop, Kodak Express, Commstation and floral decorators Madiraka spice up the service-oriented venue. For those on the run, laundering and dry cleaning can be left to those who zip the job for you, The Loop Laundry and Valet Shop.
Banking needs are guaranteed signed, sealed and delivered by Equitable PCI, Bank of the Philippine Islands and Global Money.
To cap off the star-watching expedition, the ABS-CBN Studio Shop provides keepsakes of the network and memorabilia for tourists.
Everything is at The Loop: the shops, the stops and the stars. ABS-CBN has launched this feather to its cap through an endeavor to provide the community with an experience of international glitter and youre all invited.
