Desiree moves on

-
Desiree Del Valle is happy to be back on primetime television. She plays the roles of Donna and Luminax in the country’s first superserye, Krystala. As Donna, she is Judy Ann Santos’ plain Jane best friend. The character transforms into Luminax, one of the villains, whose power is derived from any forms of light.

Des is very excited, especially when she puts on her Luminax costume. As Luminax, she has to learn and do her own fight scenes and stunts. What makes it even more exciting is that she also has to master the "art of flying". According to Desiree, Luminax has brought out the kid in her again. She adds that there is never a dull moment in the making of Krystala because here, she was also introduced to the magical world of special effects on television.

Desiree was last seen as Bernadette in the teleserye Bituin. She was very convincing as she played Nora Aunor’s rebel daughter. When Bituin ended, she joined the cast of Sana’y Wala Nang Wakas. Desiree considers Sana’y Wala Nang Wakas unforgettable because when she was doing the teleserye, she experienced a "rough storm" in her life. Although feeling very low personally and professionally, she still felt very fortunate because she knew she had the love and support of her family, friends and Star Magic (Talent Center). However, as the cliché goes, "You can never put a good person down!". Desiree has moved on and how?

One can say that career-wise, Desiree is back on the right foot. On the personal side, there’s no denying that she has found happiness in the person of co-Star Magic artist Luis Alandy.
