Much more recently, 500 members of Globe Girlfriends were treated to an exclusive premiere of Kate Hudson’s romantic comedy, Raising Helen at Cinema 6 of Glorietta 4 in Makati.

This heartwarming comedy is about Helen Harris (Hudson), a fashion executive at a top Manhattan modeling agency who is living the life she always dreamed of. Her days are spent at fashion shows and her nights at the city’s hottest clubs. But Helen’s life comes to a sudden stop when her sister dies, leaving her to take care of her children.

Globe Girlfriends had a great time watching glamour girl Hudson’s trials and tribulations and her eventual transformation from fashionista to super mom. All this, and of course, she finds love along the way, in principal and pastor Dan Parker, the character played by John Corbett.
