He is the one and only Fashion Czar of Asia, Jose "Pitoy" Moreno.

The Cultural Center of the Philippines pays tribute to the master in two nights of classic and timeless beauty in Ginintuang Moreno, A Tribute to Jose "Pitoy" Moreno. Happening on Oct. 26 to 27, 8 p.m., at the Tanghalang Nicanor Abelardo (CCP Main Theater), the gala presentations will feature Pitoy’s couture through the years, with the participation of the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra, the Bayanihan Philippine National Folk Dance Company, Ballet Philippines, Philippine Ballet Theater, and the Philippine Madrigal Singers. The shows are for the benefit of the CCP’s Arts for the People Program, Gawad Kalinga and Laura Vicuña Foundation.

Pitoy’s reputation throughout the world makes him the designer’s designer, and the beadwork, embroidery, and handpainting applied to his exquisite ternos have shone just as brightly as the beautiful women who wear them. Some of these women will again be seen in the spotlight, as they join the fashion show along with Pitoy’s celebrity models.
