All My Life: A good, therapeutic cry

After over 20 years in the business, with numerous acting awards, a beautiful, intelligent wife and an adorable set of twins, Aga Muhlach has had a full life. But of course, he also had his share of bad times. And all through these, he loved and lost, stumbled and fumbled, but at the end he prevailed, because Aga is one of the most beautiful persons and one of the most gifted actors of this generation.
From a matinee idol packaging, Aga metamorphosed into the countrys premiere dramatic leading men.
In his latest movie All My Life, which is breaking box-office records in cinemas nationwide, Aga captures our hearts once more as Sam, a man who sees life as one big adventure that shouldnt be missed in spite of a terminal heart ailment.
Aga admits that what challenged him to accept his role in All My Life was the storys simplicity and truthfulness.
"Plus the fact that its from Star Cinema. Pag Star ang gumawa, alam nating naaalagaan ng mabuti ang artista, pamilya ang turing sa artista. They do very good castings. New things are also introduced in their movies. Im also honored to be paired with Kristine Hermosa, who is so beautiful. All My Life is a movie where the romantic story leads to the unusual. Its a movie about love and pain. In the end, we will understand why love is as important as time. The twist in the end will really affect anybodys emotions. It will inspire and teach everyone to live and love to the fullest for we only have one life to live. You may feel the love alongside the pain, but the heart of the movie will stay with you," shares Aga.
His leading lady, Kristine Hermosa, is likewise a revelation in this movie. She has freed herself from the stereotypical teeny bopper image and proudly displayed the woman that she has become a woman who exudes a new-found depth, sensitivity and sensuality.
All My Life adds another feather to the cap of its director, my friend Direk Lauren Dyogi, and proves that he is a filmmaker whose honesty equates with his persona at workwhich is all heart. This is a strong contrast to the honest, unflinching juror who criticizes and decides whether a questor gets "in" or "out" in Star Circle Quest.
"I was first approached by director Olive Lamasan telling me that they have a project, a love story with an unusual ending. We met with writers Mia Concio and Mel del Rosario. It took us over a year to fully develop the story and had brainstorming sessions from December 2002 to this day including finalizing where the story will go, to the end of shooting, to post-production. We wanted to be assured that the storys flow will interest people from start to finish," shares Direk Lauren.
Go catch All My Life in your favorite theaters. Its therapeutic to cry during uncertain times!
Heads are swaying. Hands are tapping. Metro Manila is singing along with WRR 101.9 For Life! As it brings back the WRR jingle. Composed by music expert Jimmy Antiporda, the new version of the WRR jingle was performed by two of the hottest stars in the industry today, teen idol Heart Evangelista and Star In A Million champion Erik Santos.
The comeback of this infectious tune was made in great fashion. In partnership with ABS-CBN Interactive, an SMS contest was held where listeners were asked to guess the names of the two stars who sang the jingles new version. In the said promo, listeners were not only able to download picture messages of WRR deejays, they also had the chance to be one of the two winners who took home P10,000 in cash! Consolation prizes such as shirts and CDs were also up for grabs.
The culmination of this promo was the formal launching of the WRR jingle on ASAP Mania, making WRR the only radio station to launch a jingle on national (and international with TFC) television. The winners of the SMS Promo were revealed in a live simulcast from the stations booth, and Heart and Erik had everyone singing along as they performed the catchy jingle.
An event as exciting as this could only come from the metros overall number one radio station, WRR 101.9 For Life! Watch out as the For Life jingle invades your TV screens very soon.
