New twists in Buhay Beauty Queen

Fresh from a strenuous photo shoot and an unexpected voting off in Buhay Beauty Queen, the 22 remaining candidates were recently treated to a one-of-a-kind treatment at Tagaytay’s Nurture Tropical Spa and Café. The spa experience was meant to give the beauties a much-needed break and to rejuvenate them for the intense weeks ahead.

The girls definitely wanted to have fun. But their day at the spa didn’t end with the treatments, for after the soothing experience, there was another surprise awaiting them. Will there be another voting off?

As another day began at the Buhay Beauty Queen, the candidates were given a small budget to buy gifts for their favorite co-candidates. The beauties, however, didn’t have any idea that through this activity, Miss Congeniality would be chosen.

Before the week ended, Buhay Beauty Queen host Epy Quizon concocted a secretly-staged role-playing scenario to spice up the show and to surprise the den mothers, Sandy Hontiveros and Lon Adalia. The activity was the host’s toast to Mother’s Day. But then, an unexpected twist happened during and after the so-called "activity."
