Messages of hope, love, joy & consolation

It’s Maundy Thursday, a great time for soul-searching and meditation when you can listen to your heart beat and scan your mind clearly – and see your soul in a brighter perspective.

To help us in our meditation, I’m printing 15 passages from a collection called Messages of Hope, Love, Joy and Consolation given to me as a Christmas gift by my good friend Maribi M. Garcia who is one of the most deeply spiritual people I’ve ever known.

Here they are:

God’s love is such a powerful companion for us that no matter how searing or how intense the hurt of a betrayal or loss is, we know that our spirit need not be destroyed by it.

Dare to dream great dreams... but dream with God. You will see how He will make your dreams come true. Those dreams He knows are the best for you.

As writer D. Crowe says, "There is no limit to the goals you can attain, the success you can achieve... your possibilities and potentials are as endless as your dreams," when you dream with God.

When you believe God and have faith in Him daily, God will work out His purpose in your life.

Believe this...

Not only because you have to, but because IT WORKS!!

My Spiritual Journey

To have found God is not the end of my search but only the beginning.

If sorrow be too deep for prayer. Say not a word. He knows... Just kneel at His feet and kneeling there find holy sweet repose.

* * *

God carefully weighs each cross we carry. He makes sure it is one not too light to make us complacent in life, nor one too heavy to make us bitter, helpless and desperate.

God never gives us a cross we cannot handle... and He is always there to help us carry it.

To surrender is to place ourselves in the hands of God, confident that God knows better than we what is suitable for us, and to believe that we will receive what we really need, not on our deceptive terms, but rather, according to the wisdom of God.

My child, It is when there’s nothing else you can do...

That everything else I will do.

TRUST ME!!!

Trust that morning will break through your darkness.

Have faith that a bright new dawn awaits you and know that you are LOVED!

Come to me, all of you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am meek and humble of heart; and you will find rest for your selves. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." – Matthew 11:28-30

Smiling through tears

It is easy enough to be pleasant

When life flows by like a song.

But the man worthwhile is the one who will smile when everything goes dead wrong,

For the test of the heart is trouble.

And it always comes with the years.

But the smile that is worth

The praises on earth

Is the smile that shines through tears.

Do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Let the day’s own trouble be sufficient for the day.

God always keeps His promises.

Sometimes He delays but He never, never forgets!

TRUST HIM!

My child,

Let me lift your burdens, your stress and unnecessary anxieties. Let me love you like no other person has ever loved you. Just live in My love one day at a time – this is enough...

Yes My child, do not be troubled and anxious about the future, for it has not yet come. Do not dwell in grieving over the past for it is already gone. Just live in the present, just live in my love, and together we shall make your life as beautiful to be worth remembering.

I love you, My precious one.
