Good food, good company & Swatch nostalgia

-
Martin Nievera is back in Manila! Fresh from his super successful concert series at the Golden Nugget in Las Vegas, Martin took time to celebrate with Swatch family in an intimate dinner hosted by Swatch’s grand dame Virgie Ramos at Gaita Fores’ Pepato, Greenbelt 2.

Swatch nostalgia was in the air as friends of Swatch–both old and new–reunited for a night of good food, great company and tons of stories. Swatch Lady Mikee Cojuangco-Jaworski, who came with sister China Cojuangco, joined Martin in a duet accompanied by Raul Mitra; Swatch Director Rowell Santiago went down memory lane with Swatch Creative Consultants Manu and Agot Isidro-Sandejas; and Swatch friend Zsa Zsa Padilla played with the Ask Your Swatch from the new Swatch Touch line of watches with Martin. Nobody knows what the question was except for the two of them but the Swatch watch did give its answer – maybe. Now we all wonder what that maybe could be.

Borgy Manotoc was also at the party. Could it be true that Swatch is preparing to unveil Borgy for its latest campaign? Stay tuned and find out! Another fresh and exciting face to watch out for is Swatch Big Man Asi Taulava. After another winning game with Talk ‘N Text, Asi together with wife Anna May and teammates Bong Ravena, Willie Miller and Jimmy Alapag, who came with LJ Moreno, joined the gang as the party lasted all night long. The party pack includes Martin’s and Borgy’s manager – Joji Dingcong, Mons Tantoco, Pepper Teehankee and Anton San Diego.

As the merry-making wound down with Martin giving in to everyone’s request for a song, he remembered what he misses most when he was working in Las Vegas. But what definitely touches his heart did the warm welcome all his friends and loved ones give him everytime he comes home. Welcome back Martin!
