Shes showing all those "signs" at the moment. You guessed it: She has been dating a wonderful guy whose first name starts with the same letter as that of the surname of her immediate "ex." His family name starts with the letter...oops! never mind! Suffice it to say that "L"ove makes the world go round.
Shouldnt we be happy for Kris who deserves, just like everybody else, to be happy?
The guy is single (hooray!), meaning he has never been married, and he doesnt have any child (out of wedlock). He comes from a respectable family which has some showbiz and political connections.
As Kris says in that corned beef TV commercial: Natagpuan ko na siya. At sigurado akong magugustuhan siya ni Mommy at ni Kuya.
The big question is: Is he "it"?
Lets keep our fingers crossed.
But Phillips brother Ramon Salvador told Funfare that he and Ipe have filed a motion to remand the case to the local prosecutor, stating that under the DOJ Circular No. 62, paragraph 2 and sub-paragraph 3, the DOJ doesnt allow direct filing of ordinary criminal cases with the Chief State Prosecutors Office.
Said Ramon, "That office is ordained to conduct preliminary investigation only of cases that affect national interests."
In their complaint, Ramon and Phillip have accused Cristina of "openly boasting" that she has the support of her godfather, Undersecretary Ramon Liwag, and that Decena "boasted that she and Chief Prosecutor Jovencito Zuno are close friends."
"We stated in our motion that, because of this," said Ramon, "we have lost confidence in the ability of the Office of the Chief Prosecutor to conduct the preliminary investigation of the case with absolute impartiality."
Incidentally, something interesting happened at the St. Viator Church in Las Vegas last Sunday. The gospel was about the prodigal son. The church presented a short play about the parable. Heres a brief account of the Funfare DPA who was there:
During the homily, the priest asked the community, "So when the father saw his prodigal son, what did he do?" The crowd murmured, "He hugged his son." The priest looked at the Filipino-looking guy seated on the front pew, made him stand and gave him a warm hug. "Yes, the good father hugged his prodigal son and welcomed him home!"
The surprised Filipino gave the priest a hug back and sheepishly sat back as the priest thanked him.
Well, every Filipino in the church recognized who the "prodigal son" was none other than Phillip Salvador!
According to owner-manager Charlemagne Lim, Little Asia doesnt normally accept catering jobs but Charlemagne made an exception for Incubus (whose concert was produced by Charlemagnes friend).
"We catered lunch and dinner for the band, the crew and everybody on the production staff."
Incubus member Brandon Boyd liked the food so much that he kept on thanking Charlemagne. "The group was very nice, friendly and funny," said Charlemagne.
And what did Little Asia chef Charlson Lim, Charlemagnes brother, prepare for the Incubus (and company):
These: Little Asias Crispy Chicken, Korean Beef Stew, Boneless Tilapia, Salt & Pepper Spareribs, Steamed Broccoli served with Prawns and Mushrooms, Thai Eggplant with Minced Pork and Fried Green Beans.
I surmise that the Incubus must have flown back home burping all the way!
Well, reader Anya Villar of Alabang, Muntinlupa, has just solved the "mystery." The photo, identified as Alyssa, is actually that of Katherine Heigl, best remembered for her performance in the movie My Father, the Hero and in Roswell.
There you are, loud and clear.
Thank you, Anya, for the clarification.
