A busy season for Ogie

Ogie Alcasid continues to promote his bestselling album Mga Kuwento Ng Pag-ibig.
Today, at 4 p.m. Ogie goes to SM Southmall in Las Piñas to sing songs from his new album and to hold an autograph signing session with fans.
The album has reached the no. 2 spot in the Odyssey Record charts, no. 4 in Radio City, and no. 3 in the Tower Records and Music One charts. The albums first single, Huwag Ka Lang Mawawala, continues to dominate the airwaves. Viva Records is preparing the release of the second single, Magpakailanman, a debut with Regine Velasquez. Meanwhile, Ogies collaboration with Salbakuta, entitled Ubos Na Ang Pasensiya, is gaining extensive airplay in top FM radio stations all over the country.
Another good news for Ogie is his four nominations in the forthcoming Aliw Awards. Ogie is nominated for Best Major Concert Act (Male) for OA Sa Hits, Best Concert Act (Solo), Best Performance in Music Lounges, Bars, Clubs and Restaurant & Entertainer of the Year. Ogie is also nominated in the forthcoming MTV Awards for the following category: Best Male Performance. Lastly, Ogie was recently named Best Male Recording artist in 2003 Consumers Choice & Dangal Ng Pilipinas Annual Awards.
As a songwriter, Ogies compositions continue to make waves. His latest composition for Piolo Pascual entitled Ikaw Ang Buhay Ko is a certified hit at the airwaves. Ogie himself produced that song for Star Records. Ogie is busy producing Piolo Pascuals second album for his own label, OGREcords, for Star records.
Ogie is also busy preparing for his major concert at the Araneta Coliseum. Billed as OA At Fifteen. This much anticipated event will also celebrate Ogies fifteenth Anniversary in show business.
