Within a month, they could probably get married and when that time comes Negros Occidental Rep. Jules Ledesma would be ready to join Assunta de Rossi, in her controversial litigation against her erstwhile manager.
Speaking with Korina Sanchez for ABS-CBNs Isyu 101 aired last night, the congressman said he and Assunta had already gone to the Italian Embassy last Monday to arrange documents in preparation for their coming wedding. Assunta is half Italian, half Filipino.
Jules said it will take two weeks before they get the certificate of eligibility to get married.
"Then we can get married two seconds after that," he said.
Assunta is currently in a bind concerning her contract with manager Manny Valera.
Jules said he does not have any right to be a party in the case since they are not yet married.
"No, no...Jules has nothing to do with my case," Assunta replied when Korina asked what Jules' involvement in the litigation against Valera is.
"This has nothing to do with me. Im not part of the case. I have no right to be a part of the case. We are not yet married. I am preparing though because the day we are married, I am preparing my own litigation to join hers," he said.
