PEOPLE Asia’s first music issue out

-
November chimes in with PEOPLE Asia magazine’s first music issue with "Concert Queen" Pops Fernandez on the cover. Featuring a wide range of artists from different music genres, the magazine offers a virtual feast with its highly conceptual photos. It has the Apo Hiking Society embedded in rock, and Parokya ni Edgar in their Sunday best. The Eraserheads show why they’re no fruitcakes, while Martin Nievera hits the readers’ (and listeners’) G-spot. Sharon Cuneta brings us back to her "Mr. DJ" days, and the Side A band proves why it can outlast time with its smooth ballads.

You won’t go hungry, too, with bands Sandwich and Freestyle, and divas Lani Misalucha, Jaya Ramsey, Bituin Escalante and Dessa, whose powerful voices are sure to satiate your melodious craving.

No less than Mr. C – Ryan Cayabyab – hits the high notes with his take on the Pinoy musko, and what makes him enduring and endearing. Karen Kunawicz looks back to Club Dredd’s inception and eventual transformation, including the bands and artists who cut their teeth performing in the club.

You want your MTV? Then Anna Hidalgo will give it to you, along with "open secrets" on how Pinoys produce their music videos with little budget and a lot of resourcefulness. Then take a hike to balmy and rustic Zambales, where Maestro Coke Bolipata harnesses local talents and turns them into virtuosos.

There’s definitely more with the pages of PEOPLE Asia’s November issue to keep you humming. For subscriptions and other inquiries, call 892-1854 or 527-3144.
