Its raining men at the Dish

Manpower has just taken a whole new meaning.
Recently, Cosmopolitan Magazine and Lee Jeans USA kicked off Cosmos Men! Men! Men! issue with the Bachelor Bash 2001 held at Dish, Powerplant. The event sizzled with 69 of the countrys most eligible hunks and seven of the hottest guys featured in the centerfold of Cosmos Men issue.
In the spirit of "Fun, Fearless, Female," the evening was crammed with wall-to-wall hunks strutting their stuff in a devilish display of the countrys finest male specimens. After a fiery exhibition by Zippo, the event put the pedal to the metal with a fashion show featuring the dudes out in duds designed by Lee Jeans USA.
Clad in racing gear and worn-down hip-hop overalls, the men swaggered down the runway in sizzling ensembles showcasing sex-meets-the-city. The bachelors strutted down the catwalk in casual racing gear emulating a perfect brew of form and function. They also wore jackets accented with digital read-outs flickering on their backs. The electrifying ensemble also included edgy urban wear in spontaneous print designs reflective of the hottest in fashion. And just when you thought it was safe to go back to the drool pool, the bachelors lathered the crowd into a female frenzy when they stripped from conservative hip-hop overalls to tight, scintillating denim shorts.
The evenings fun, fearless activities raged into an inferno when Cosmo centerfold hunks Marc Nelson, Alex Aquino, Derek Ramsey, Nick Hopper, Kenji Marquez and Christian Vasquez trotted down the catwalk in outfits that revealed too much and hid too little.
Geri Halliwell would have been orgasmic!
Spotted in the crowd were celebrities Pops Fernandez, Mylene Dizon, Rafael Rosell IV, Cody Moreno, Shaan Bermudez, Illiac Diaz and many more.
To Myrza Sison and the rest of the Cosmopolitan staff, congratulations!
And now some news from Anjanette Abayari.
Recently, she was featured in Yolk magazine where she talked about her present life. She still longs to see the Philippines but at the moment, she would rather stay in Los Angeles. "I think I want to stay here in L.A. You know, before all this happened (referring to her nightmare in Guam), I was feeling confined and had a desire to come back to L.A.," she says in the article.
Here are a few more paragraphs from Yolk:
Anjanette had led a very colorful life. She was discovered in L.A. and was asked to pose for Lowrider Magazine where she was featured on the cover a dozen times. Anjanette made her first contact with celebrity when David Lee Roth and Eddie Van Halen called her up and requested to see her.
Crowned Bb. Pilipinas-Universe in 1991, her reign was short-lived on the grounds of technicality. "Winning the title was my first introduction to intrigue. Someone from the Philippines called and complained about my residency status. I felt betrayed but it gave me a taste of reality." After relinquishing her crown, Anjanette went back to the States and did some modeling. She became a Bud Girl for three years. A visit to her relatives in the Philippines paved her way to the movies.
But for the former Darna, the Philippines is still a long way to fly for her. Anjanette remains closeted in the States until the ban is lifted. In the meantime, fans of the actress will have to content themselves with just reading items on her.
But nobody really knows whats going to happen next with AJ. No storm lasts forever, anyway. Everything somehow passes. Or I just miss her!
