Vamp Rica Peralejo in People Asia

People Asia gathers up a storm in its July 2001 issue starting with vampy Rica Peralejo on the cover. Once familiar as a be-dimpled teen to tv viewers, Rica shows that she’s all woman in sizzling photos with actor and rumored boyfriend Bernard Palanca. Ruffa Gutierrez gives a peek of her exhilarating life as an international host celebrity, while actor Raymond Bagatsing "breaks away" from the stereotype tag.

Also in the issue are successful US-based Filipinos, such as Guam businessman Mark Pangilinan who even had a day named after him; and Dr. Jorge Garcia, a world-renowned heart surgeon. American-born Angela Perez Baraquio also does us proud not only by clinching the Miss America 2001 title, but by advocating character education and instilling in the youth perserverance, integrity, honesty.

At the home front, we have blind girl Roselle Ambubuyog, summa cum laude and class valedictorian of Ateneo de Manila University’s batch 2001, whose remarkable story would surely touch and inspire. Also in the magazine are Education secretary Raul Raul Roco giving a lesson or two, and former Executive Secretary Renato de Villa who bares his heart.

There’s more in this July downpour from People Asia magazine.
