Dear Dr. Love,
Good day to you and all the readers of PSN.
Sa column na ito nakilala ko si Dennis (not his real name). I accidentally read his letter & I was then touched by his love story so I sent him a letter and shared my own views regarding his situation then. We became penfriends since then at nagsusulatan pa rin kami up to now. But things changed when five months ago, he sent me his cell # and asked if we can be textmates also. After a month of texting and calling, he courted me. Weird because we didnt even met yet. I accepted his proposal though I know na may girlfriend na siya.
Dennis is nice kahit hindi pa kami nagkikita. I know he is not the type na nanggu-goodtime lang but of course, may doubt pa rin sa akin. I dont believe na may nai-inlove sa pagpapalitan lang ng sulat at pagtatawagan sa phone.
To be honest, I didnt take him seriously during the first two months of our relationship. Until his girlfriend got to know the situation. She confronted me & I felt so guilty I said sorry to her.
When Dennis and I talked, I told him ayoko na but he didnt listen to me. He was so persistent and we continued our relationship.
Dr. Love, what must I do? We have plans na mag-meet sooner or later pero tama pa bang magkita kami? I know this is wrong and unfair to his girlfriend. But I dont deny this feeling I feel for him. I also know and feel that he loves me. He thinks were soulmates and these things are happening to us because they were meant to be. Please help me...and guide me.
Sincerely,
Miss Confused
Dear Miss Confused,
Tama ka, hindi puwedeng umibig sa taong kakilala mo lang sa sulat. Marahil ang nadarama mo ngayoy paghanga lamang.
Kung binata pa si Dennis, walang masama kung magkita kayo in person. Pero if possible, do it with a chaperon.
Start off with friendship and let time confirm kung true love ang nararamdaman ninyo sa isat isa.
Regarding his girlfriend, kailangang i-break niya ito kung sadyang ikaw ang mahal niya.
