Las Piñas derby stages 100 fights
MANILA, Philippines — The annual summer cockfest at Las Piñas Coliseum billed as Alexander four-cock derby gets going April 25 with more than 100 fights on tap.
The champions from Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Muntinlupa, Parañaque, Las Piñas and Pasay gear up with their respective aces for the championship worth P300,000.
LPC general manager Alex Tobias will host the event which requires an entry fee of P6,600.
Preparations are also under way for the Payanig sa Masa Part II five-cock derby at LPC on May 30, June 6, 13, 20 and 27 with Mayor Nene Aguilar as host.
The winners will receive P800,000 in guaranteed prize.
