WATCH: Lakay fighters to take on common foes

MANILA, Philippines — Team Lakay has been in this situation before. 

The famed Baguio City-based fighting stable has been in the ONE Championship circuit for quite some time, and they have basically familiarized their foes.

Honorio Banario and Kevin Belingon, both riding on the momentum of a winning streak, will be taking on new faces. But Team Lakay has come across these foes.

Banario, who is fighting on Friday night at lightweight, will lock horns with Australian Adrian Pang. The latter faced off with former division champion Eduard Folayang nearly two years ago.

Belingon, on the other hand, is looking to bolster his case for a rematch with Bibiano Fernandes as he takes on Andrew Leone, who defeated the interim Flyweight kingpin Geje Estaquio five years ago.

For her part, Gina Iniong also tackles Jenny Huang, who won over April Osenio.

Despite the contrasting results of Team Lakay’s previous outings with Pang, Leone, and Huang, mentor Mark Sangiao is optimistic.
