Voyager Innovations inaugurates DigiHub

MANILA, Philippines — PLDT, Inc.’s digital innovations unit Voyager Innovations, Inc. on Thursday inaugurated DigiHub, a physical facility in Voyager’s Launchpad headquarters that Filipino entrepreneurs can use as a space for consultation and mentoring.

“We want Filipino entrepreneurs to be capable of providing what their customers want,” said Dindo Marzan, managing director of the marketing technology arm of PLDT’s Voyager.

“Of course, through DigiHub, we can do that with the workshops, learning activities and trainings that we'll be able to provide to any micro small medium enterprise that will be part of this ecosystem,” Marzan added.

In DigiHub, Filipino MSMEs can learn about digital entrepreneurship, as well as discover and try out new platforms across Voyager.

The learning space is part of Voyager’s digital transformation program, which aims to help MSMEs compete in the growing digital economy.

“We called this 'DigiHub' mainly because it’s not just us who are working on it. We need the partners. We need the other shakers and movers of the industry so that we can enable the Filipino entrepreneurs,” Marzan said.

“Hopefully, this becomes a center of excellence for all our entrepreneurs not only MSMEs but start-ups as well,” he added. — Ian Nicolas Cigaral
