Regional priority programs up for funding

MANILA, Philippines — Several priority programs in the regions, consisting of the development of healthcare facilities, irrigation systems, and connective infrastructure, will be proposed for funding under the 2019 national budget, the National Economic and Development Authority said.

The agency said the projects were those included in the Health Facilities Enhancement Program of the Department of Health, Farm-to-Market Roads of the Department of Agriculture, Sagana at Ligtas na Tubig sa Lahat of the Department of Interior and Local Government, Communal Irrigation System of the National Irrigation Administration, Local Roads and Bridges Program of the Department of Public Works and Highways and Level III Water Supply System of the Local Water Utilities Administration .
