Kim hindi pa rin maamin si Xian!

Pangatlo na palang horror movie ni Kim Chiu ang The Ghost Bride na nakatakdang magbukas sa mga sinehan sa November 1. Tampok din siya sa pelikulang Shake, Rattle and Roll X, na idinirek ni Toppel Lee.

Second horror movie naman ni Kim itong The Ghost Bride with award-winning director Chito Roño  at the helm. Si Direk Chito rin ang direktor ng The Healing, which was her first and only movie with Star for All Seasons cum Lipa City Representative Vilma Santos-Recto.

Well, kung horrifying daw, ayon kay Kim, ang The Healing, mas ‘di hamak itong The Ghost Bride. Bonus sa manonood ang malaman nilang ito ay practice among the Chinese called Ghost wedding na isang Chinese culture and tradition, na ginagawa pa rin hanggang ngayon, lalo’t ng mayayamang Chinese.

At ang kapalit naman nito sa sinumang babaeng pumayag na magpakasal sa isang patay na Tsino ay malaking pera. Ganumpaman, natural na may kapalit na matinding hamon.

Added bonus lalo na’t may mga eksenang kinunan sa Nepal, na magtatamok ng Buddhist practices.

More on Kim, she’s happy raw that her third album, Touch of Your Love, is selling well, like the proverbial hotcakes.

Tony laglag, Myrtle cosplayer din ang idini-date

Tulad ni Kim, Myrtle Sarrosa is a product of Pinoy Big Brother. The two of them emerged champ sa magkaibang season ng reality show. Unlike Kim though, inaamin ni Myrtle that she has yet to make it to showbiz. Well, tulad ni Kim in terms of success.

Myrtle is happy though, she said, na kahit hindi siya nag-stop sa showbiz, still natapos niya ang kanyang pag-aaral na siyang ipinangako raw niya sa kanyang mga magulang.

Last June, Myrtle completed her college course, BA in Broadcast Communication from the University of the Philippines (UP) na cum laude. Repeat cum laude.

She is currently busy with a series, La Luna Sangre, katrabaho sina Kathryn Bernardo, Da­niel Padilla, Richard Gutierrez, at Angel Locsin.

Obvious na dahil magkasama nga sila sa La Luna Sangre, kaya, na-link sila ni Tony Labrusca, na unang nakilala sa ABS-CBN’s reality TV search Pinoy Boyband Superstar.

Unfortunately, na-eliminate nga si Tony para maging isa sa mga miyembro ng BoybandPH.

Myrtle’s quick reply, “Wala, but close kami, I won’t deny. And I really admire him.”

At one time, Mytle was linked to Senator Grace Poe’s son, Brian Llamanzares. Naging talk of the town ang kanilang paghihiwalay.

Sa kasalukuyan daw, she exclusively dates someone na five years na niyang kilala and a professional. Like her, too, he’s a cosplayer.
